Some of the children in our care don’t need big displays — they need patience, understanding, and an adult who helps them feel safe, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
We’re working with a warm, inclusive SEN Unit in Waltham Forest that is seeking a calm, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The setting prides itself on providing a nurturing, structured environment where every child’s unique needs are met with compassion, consistency, and expertise.
The children you’ll support have a range of special educational needs, and each has their own strengths, challenges, and ways of communicating. They need adults who can follow personalised plans, encourage independence, and adapt learning and interactions to suit their individual profiles. This is a setting where staff work closely, value each other’s strengths, and celebrate every small step of progress.
