  • \n
  • Promote positive behaviour throughout the school, responding calmly and effectively to challenging situations.
  • \n
  • Support students during lessons, transitions, breaktimes and other activities across the school day.
  • \n
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support students both in school and at home.
  • \n
  • Accompany students on educational visits and support wider pastoral activities where required.
  • \n

  • A calm, patient and resilient approach, with excellent behaviour management skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with vulnerable young people.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • \n
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • \n
  • Experience within a school, alternative provision, youth work, residential care, mental health or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • \n
\n

What the School Offers

    \n
  • A supportive and experienced leadership team.
  • \n
  • Ongoing CPD and specialist training in SEMH, Autism and therapeutic approaches.
  • \n
  • Opportunities to work alongside educational psychologists, therapists and multi-disciplinary professionals.
  • \n
  • A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to students' lives every day.
  • \n
  • Excellent facilities and a collaborative, child-centred working environment.
  • \n
\n
