Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (SHE) Advisor to support the delivery of a major concrete and heavy civils project on the Net Zero Teesside (NZT) development. This opportunity would suit someone with experience within heavy civils, reinforced concrete or groundworks, looking to play a key role on a nationally significant project. SHE Advisor Job Overview * Provide practical SHE support across multiple live construction projects. * Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews. * Promote Health, Safety and Environmental best practice. * Review RAMS, CoSHH, PUWER, LOLER and Fire compliance. * Deliver toolbox talks and behavioural safety briefings. * Lead accident, incident and near miss investigations. * Support contractor management and operational planning. * Deliver internal SHE training where required. * Build strong working relationships with project teams and clients. SHE Advisor Job Requirements * NEBOSH Construction Certificate. * CSCS Card. * Previous Health & Safety experience within Civil Engineering, Groundworks or RC Frame projects. * Good understanding of current H&S legislation and industry best practice. * Experience carrying out site inspections, audits and incident investigations. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable Desirable Qualifications * IEMA or other environmental qualification. * Temporary Works, Fire Risk or CoSHH qualifications. * Experience delivering training or toolbox talks. * Behavioural safety experience.
