We are currently looking for 2 Internal Auditors to join our forward-thinking Internal Audit partnership between East Sussex County Council (ESCC) and Brighton and Hove City Council (B&HCC). We have the below available:
The posts will be employed by ESCC and will require some travel across East Sussex and Brighton. We currently work on a hybrid basis with an expectation that everyone within our service will share time between working from one of our available offices and from home.
Internal Audit is responsible for providing assurance to our clients in relation to internal control governance and risk management supporting each organisation to achieve its overall objectives. As a service we are proud to have demonstrated high levels of compliance with the standards applicable to Internal Audit and as a new partnership we have exciting plans to continue to develop the service even further.
You would be part of a team that independently helps our organisations and clients understand what is working and what isnt identifying where risks lie before they become problems and working with management to agree actions for improvement. Previous experience in an audit team is not necessary.
