Managed by Rhubarb, Sky Garden sits atop 20 Fenchurch Street, a.k.a. The Walkie Talkie Building, and houses two restaurants, two bars, a retail outlet, ground floor coffee kiosk and stunning event spaces.

Role Purpose:
Join Darwin Brasserie at Sky Garden, London's highest brasserie, and take your culinary career to the next level in one of the capital's most iconic dining destinations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join a high performing kitchen team, leading from the front in a high volume premium restaurant environment while developing your career with a renowned hospitality business.
What you will be doing
Supporting the Head Chef in leading and motivating a large brigade within a busy all-day dining restaurant
Delivering consistently high-quality dishes across breakfast, lunch, dinner services
Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency during high-volume service periods
Coaching, mentoring, and developing junior chefs to drive performance, engagement, and career progression
Assisting with menu development and continuous improvement of kitchen standards
What we are looking for
Proven experience as a Sous Chef within a high volume restaurant
Strong background working in premium dining, brasserie, or quality-led restaurant operations
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage a large team
Passion for food, fresh ingredients, and delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding cuisine
Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
