\n Bee Health, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of vitamins, minerals and supplements, is looking for an ambitious Assistant Buyer to join its growing Purchasing team in Bridlington.\n
\n
\n This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to learn and develop a career in procurement. Previous buying experience isn't essential. If you have the right attitude, are organised, enjoy problem solving and want to build a career in purchasing, Bee Health will provide full training and support, including the opportunity to study towards your CIPS qualification.\n

\n The Role Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you'll support the Purchasing team in ensuring raw materials, packaging and services are available to keep production running smoothly. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal departments, learning every aspect of the purchasing process while developing your commercial and supply chain knowledge.\n
\n
\n
Responsibilities\n
\n - Raise and manage purchase orders using the MRP system
\n - Support the scheduling of raw materials and packaging
\n - Build relationships with suppliers and internal departments
\n - Monitor outstanding orders and chase deliveries
\n - Help manage supplier performance and delivery schedules
\n - Resolve invoice and purchase order queries
\n - Support sourcing activities and procurement projects
\n - Produce reports and maintain accurate purchasing data
\n - Work closely with Planning, Operations, Warehouse and Quality teams to ensure materials are available when needed
\n

About You\n

\nYou don't need previous buying experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude and a genuine interest in building a career in purchasing.\n
\n
\n You'll be:\n

\n
\n - Eager to learn and develop
\n - Interested in a long-term career within Buying or Procurement
\n - Organised with excellent attention to detail
\n - A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships
\n - Proactive and able to manage a varied workload
\n - Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
\n - Analytical, with good problem-solving skills
\n
Experience within manufacturing, supply chain or an office environment would be beneficial but is not essential.\n
\n
