The Role
As a BusinessAnalyst youll playa pivotalrole in identifyingopportunities to improvebusiness processes increaseoperational efficiencyand support strategicchange across RubyEnergy and itsassociatedbusinesses.
Working across departments including Sales CustomerServices Billing collections/debt and IndustryData youll analyseexisting processes gatherbusiness requirementsand help designpractical solutions thatdeliver measurable businessbenefits.
Unliketraditional Business Analystroles youll remaininvolved throughout thefull project lifecycle supporting delivery testing implementation andpost-go-live activities toensure successful adoptionand lasting improvements.
Where appropriate youllalso support orlead smallerprojects acting as ProjectManager to driveinitiatives forward.

What Youll BeDoing

• Analyse business processes systems and workflowsto identify opportunitiesfor improvement.
• Gather and documentbusiness requirements throughstakeholder engagement.
• Producebusiness cases andrecommendations supportedby data andanalysis.
• Map current andfuture business processes.
• Support business changeinitiatives from conceptthrough to implementation.
• Work alongside ProjectManagers to deliverprojectson time andwithin scope.
• Manage smaller changeprojects where required.
• Coordinate business testing includingUser Acceptance Testing(UAT).
• Support solution design planning training implementation and go-liveactivities.
• Monitor the successof implementedchanges and identifyfurther improvement opportunities.
• Produce clear documentation reports process maps and project updates.
• Build strong workingrelationships across thebusiness and actas a keylink between operationalteams and projectdelivery.

About You
Youll be naturallyanalytical organisedand comfortable workingwith people acrossall levels ofthe business. Youenjoy understanding howorganisationswork andfinding smarter moreefficient ways ofdoing things.
Youll also beconfident managing multiplepriorities andtakingownership of deliveringmeaningful change.

Essential Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years experience in aBusiness Analyst role.
• Strong analytical andproblem solving skills.
• Experience gathering businessrequirements and processmapping.
• Excellent stakeholder managementand communication skills.
• Strong organisational andplanning abilities.
• Experience supporting businesschange and projectdelivery.
• Advanced Microsoft Officeskills particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint.
• Confident using MicrosoftTeams Outlook anddocument management systems.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English andMaths.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within Energy Utilities Sales orCustomer Operations.
• Exposureto Agile and/or Waterfall projectmethodologies.
• Experience working acrossmultiple concurrent projects.
• Knowledge of Jira MS Project similarPMO tools.
• Familiarity with CRMsystems and operationaldata management.
