If you are an experienced Fire and Security Engineer looking for a role that offers stability, variety, and proper support, this is worth exploring.
This is a field-based position covering a regional patch across Reading, London and Birmingham, working with a well-established national business known for delivering consistent service across commercial environments. You will have the autonomy to manage your own workload while being backed by a professional and supportive team.
You will be working across a mix of client sites including retail, hospitality, and restaurant settings, so confidence in both your technical ability and customer interaction is key.
In this role, you will:
Carry out planned maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems
Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs on site
Respond to breakdowns and restore systems to full working order
Work across a range of commercial environments in a professional manner
Maintain accurate job records, service reports, and updates
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with required standards
Support overall system reliability through high-quality workmanship
To be considered, you will need:
At least 3 years’ experience in a Fire and Security Engineer role
Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
Experience working across systems such as fire alarms, intruder alarms, and access control
A full UK driving licence
The ability to work independently and manage a mobile role
Good communication skills and a professional approach with clients
