Job summaryPaediatric Complex Care Nurse Specialist. Location: Albrighton, West Midlands. Salary: Up to £43,000 plus bonus. Hour of work: Full time, Monday to Friday with no nights, weekends or on-call responsibilities. Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Paediatric Complex Care Nurse Specialist to support children with complex care needs across the West Midlands. Main duties of the job- Manage complex caseloads including paediatric packages
- Develop and review care plans
- Train and assess care staff
- Ensure clinical quality and compliance
- Review MAR charts and care documentation
- Build strong relationships with families and MDTs

Job responsibilitiesJob Purpose:
- To promote the Apollo Home Healthcare brand to all prospective clients and healthcare professionals, undertake assessment of new referrals and reviews of current service user care plans as well as assist in the recruitment and interviewing of potential new staff.
- There will be a requirement to manage appraisal and supervision of staff Provide person centred nursing care and support to service users, their families and healthcare assistants.
- Participate as part of a team and using a person-centred approach, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care delivered.
- Maintain and oversee the maintenance of appropriate associated service user records.
Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- NMC Pin with at least 2 years post qualification nursing experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Airway management including tracheostomy care
- Ventilation management
- Enteral feeding (PEG/JEJ/NG)
- Experience with neurological or spinal conditions is beneficial.
