Job description
Cedarmount Veterinary Clinic, Bangor, County Down Are you an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a practice where you’ll be genuinely valued, supported, and able to enjoy a fantastic quality of life both inside and outside of work? At Cedarmount Veterinary Clinic, opportunities to join our team are rare. We’re proud of our strong reputation, loyal client base, and exceptional staff retention, with several team members having been part of the practice for more than 15 years. Located on the beautiful Bangor seafront, just a short distance from Belfast, we offer the perfect blend of a thriving clinical environment and coastal living. We’re looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys the variety of first opinion practice and is comfortable managing a busy caseload from day one. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse mix of medical and surgical cases alongside an experienced team that includes certificate holders and a dedicated orthopaedic surgeon. Our facilities support a high standard of care, including advanced imaging, dedicated theatres, and laparoscopic surgery capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and welcoming team where learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development are part of everyday practice. Whether you have an established clinical interest or want to further develop your skills, you’ll find encouragement and support to help you achieve your goals. You’ll enjoy a healthy work-life balance with no out-of-hours or on-call commitments, a 1 in 6 Saturday rota, flexible working arrangements, seven weeks’ holiday including bank holidays, private medical insurance, funded CPD, professional memberships paid, and a £1,250 annual Care Fund.
