Our client, a leading firm in the engineering and construction sector, is currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team for a WWTW project. Responsibilities * Oversee the design processes to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget. * Coordinate with various project stakeholders to ensure seamless design execution. * Manage design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Lead design meetings and provide technical guidance to the design team. * Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications. * Resolve any design‑related issues that arise during project execution. * Support the project team in understanding design requirements and expectations. * Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure design alignment and integration. Job Requirements * Experience in design management within the engineering and construction industry. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Proficiency with design software and tools. * Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Experience in water treatment works or similar projects is desirable. * Local to Oxford or within a commutable distance.
