Registered Manager (Step-Up Opportunity) Location: West Bridgford, Nottingham Salary: £50,000 per annum + Performance Bonuses Service: Brand-New 1-Bed EBD Childrens Home Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking for your first Registered Manager position? This is an excellent opportunity to lead a brand-new, solo 1-bed childrens home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Youll receive the autonomy to establish the service while being supported by an experienced provider operating four childrens homes. If youre ambitious, passionate about achieving outstanding outcomes, and ready to progress your career, wed love to hear from you. Whats on Offer * £50,000 + annual salary * Performance bonus for achieving SC2 registration * Performance bonus for becoming the Fit Person * Performance bonus for achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted * Full support from an established provider with four existing homes * Genuine opportunity to shape and develop a new service * Sponsorship switch available once the home is operational (for eligible candidates already in the UK) The Role * Lead the registration and opening of a new solo EBD home. * Create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people. * Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing staff team. * Ensure compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. * Drive positive outcomes for young people through strong leadership and effective care planning. * Build positive relationships with local authorities, professionals and families. * Prepare the home to achieve a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating. About You Were looking for an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready to progress into registration, or an existing Registered Manager seeking a new challenge. You would ideally have: * Last two years experience within an EBD childrens residential setting. * Strong leadership and people management skills. * Good knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements. * Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential). * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to complete if not already achieved. * Full UK driving licence.
