We are working with a highly supportive specialist school in Brentwood that is looking to appoint a passionate SEND Teacher with QTS to join their team from September.
The school provides a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where pupils receive personalised education designed around their individual needs. The dedicated staff team works closely together to support pupils’ academic progress, communication skills, independence, and emotional development.
As a SEND Teacher, you will deliver engaging and accessible lessons that are tailored to the abilities and needs of each pupil. You will work alongside teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to create a holistic approach to learning and ensure pupils receive the best possible support.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Have experience teaching within SEND or specialist education settings
- Be confident creating differentiated lessons and personalised learning plans
- Have a positive, patient, and encouraging teaching style
- Be passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve success
- Have excellent teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
