Occupational Therapist

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic health care team. The role is crucial in helping patients improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. This position plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by developing personalized treatment plans and interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs to develop individualised treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic programs to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities.
  • Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for home use.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with health care regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health care setting.
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient care standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements.
  • Driving/Access to a Vehicle is essential for this role.




Requirements
