This role is pivotal in overseeing all quality systems and laboratory operations, ensuring food safety and compliance, and fostering a culture of zero defects across all functions. Day-to-day of the role: Leadership and People Management: Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) department, developing competencies and promoting a zero-defect mindset to enhance quality performance. Quality System Management: Oversee and enforce all quality requirements, ensuring compliance with internal standards and leading quality process reviews. Laboratory Operations: Manage the factory laboratory, including personnel training and equipment maintenance, to deliver consistent and accurate results. Hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Ensure adherence to hygienic practices and GMP within the factory, including verification of cleaning systems. Food Safety Oversight: Lead food safety and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) teams to effectively manage and mitigate food safety risks.
