Quality Manager Salary up to £42,000 per annum - based in Gillingham, Kent. Days role working Mon to Fri (early finish on Fri) - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Onsite parking, employee welfare scheme. Permanent position. Our client are a successful and well established engineering company who are now looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join them, based at their Gillingham site in Kent. Reporting to the Factory Manager this is a stand alone role within their organisation and will involve working with Inspectors and other shop floor staff to manage and maintain the quality systems and processes. This role would suit someone who has a strong quality background within an Engineering environment and enjoys working in a hands on capacity. Duties of the Quality Manager will involve: Developing and maintaining quality procedures Driving continuous improvement strategies Conducting audits to ensure compliance Goods-In inspection Liaising with Sales team to resolve customer issues Implementing corrective and preventative actions Maintaining accurate quality records Ensuring calibration of quality control equipment Carrying out internal audits, ensuring procedures meet both internal and external standards Reviewing and approving documentation related to manufacturing and packaging (SOPs and RAs) Ongoing development of the QMS in line with continuous improvement programme Working closeley with other departments to dr...
