Service Coordinator
Location: Manchester (with occasional travel to the Midlands)
Salary: £27,000 per annum + Annual Pay Review
Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

About the Role
We are a well-established engineering company looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our growing team. Based in Manchester, this is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for coordinating engineers, scheduling service appointments, and ensuring excellent customer service from enquiry through to completion.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our service operations and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and engineers. Occasional travel to the Midlands will be required, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate engineer appointments efficiently.
Manage customer enquiries via telephone and email with a professional and friendly approach.
Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Update and maintain customer records using the company's CRM system.
Prepare service reports and administrative documentation.
Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth service delivery.
Monitor job progress and communicate updates to customers.
Support the wider service and operations team with general administrative duties.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator, or similar scheduling role.
Confident using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
Experienced in processing purchase orders and producing reports.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
A confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
Able to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Willing to travel occasionally to the Midlands as required.
