Job description
Job Overview Winner Education is recruiting a Nursery Manager for a large nursery setting located in the Bedford area. The nursery has an outstanding reputation and is part of an ever‑growing chain. This full‑time, permanent position is open to experienced Deputy Managers as well. Responsibilities * Support the Centre Director and Operations Leadership Team with day‑to‑day operation of the nursery * Lead, mentor and inspire the team * Ensure essential everyday tasks are completed * Deliver outstanding care and education opportunities * Conduct regular appraisals and CPD opportunities for staff * Maintain exceptional behaviour management * Act as the designated safeguarding lead * Attend training sessions and lead all staff meetings * Support with staff recruitment * Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to * Display the skills to be an effective role model Qualifications * Minimum of an NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, CACHE Diploma in Childcare, or NVQ Level3 qualification * Previous experience as a Manager or Deputy Manager within early years settings * Excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum * Resilient and strong‑willed * Passion for developing children ready for their school journey Benefits * 50% discounted childcare fees * Special offers and discounts on major brands and retailers * Up to 25% annual salary bonus * Discounted private medical insurance * Up to 33 days holiday, plus birthday off * Well‑being support * Learning and development opportunities Application Notes Applications will be subject to two relevant and satisfactory references, including most recent employment, and an enhanced DBS check.
