Our client, a leading organisation in the defence and security manufacturing sector, is seeking a Subcontracts Manufacturing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure the seamless delivery of customer product orders through effective planning and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all customer product orders are delivered on-time and in-full (OTIF) Plan product build demands in collaboration with production planners and project managers Raise external requirements to build on subcontractors and suppliers, liaising with them to achieve OTIF delivery Liaise with sales and programme management to ensure production plans are understood and communicated to the rest of the business Work closely with the supply chain to ensure supplier delivery plans are in place Negotiate with suppliers and manage their expectations Job Requirements: Experience in supply chain customer service and control Strong planning skills within a manufacturing environment Excellent communication and liaison abilities across different departments Proficiency in subcontractor and supplier management Understanding of the defence and security manufacturing sector Ability to manage negotiations and effectively achieve desired outcomes Problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively and independently as required Benefits: Permanent and stable position within a ...
