The Role
Transport Team Managers at NEXT work closely with the Transport Assistant Site Manager in the fast-paced and time critical transport operation to ensure it runs smoothly accurately and cost effectively.
The Bristol Regional Service Centre plays a pivotal role ensuring that stores in the South West and Wales are stocked and our online customers receive the service they expect from the brand. Its fast paced varied and challenging and were looking for a talented and dynamic first line transport manager to join our team.
What youll take on
Its your job to ensure that the team on shift are well organised trained and motivated to deliver the operational efficiency targets and that all processes are fully H&S compliant.

The Transport department at Next is a fast paced 24 hour operation and so there will often be a need for you to act independently and to think on your feet. You will demonstrate the ability to manage changing priorities working well under pressure and able to make sound operational decisions.
Along with proven people management skills you must have experience of working in a busy transport function demonstrating solid knowledge of road transport legislation O-licence requirements and Driver hours.
Your expertise is valued and as a Transport Team Manager you will need to search out solutions drawing upon your previous transport management experience to lead the team.
