Job description
FTS Haulage are are a family run business currently recruiting an experienced HGV1 driver that can work Monday to Friday days and/or nights on an ongoing basis. All applicants must have a minimum 2 years HGV1 experience, no more that 6 points and no DD or DR convictions. Job details: * Start times: Various starts from 5:30am - 20:00pm * Pay: £210.00 per day / £220 per night * Weekend work available at uplifted rates You will start from our Purfleet depot every day and travel to our customers site to collect loaded trailers ready to be delivered. Deliveries can be to distribution centres, supermarket stores, industrial estates, ports and more. It is imperative that our drivers are punctual, polite and presentable every day. Why work with us? * All of our HGV drivers are long term members of the team, averaging 6 years with the business. Driver's don't come and go, they stay for a long time. * We don't bother you unnecessarily - all of our processes are automated on an app (like vehicle checks) and you don't need to check in and out of the depot when you start and finish - this shortens your day. * We have a young but experienced transport team who are on hand to help anytime and have a friendly and ambitious approach to growing the business. * Growth opportunities are offered to internal drivers first, we like to give more when we get more. * As new work comes in, we may offer to upskill you wi...
