Social Housing Caretaker & Bulk Collection Driver

Rate: £17.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Caretaker & Bulk Collection Driver to join a leading Social Housing provider based in Lower Clapton.
This role is split approximately 50% caretaking duties and 50% bulk waste collection/driving duties, making it ideal for a hands-on candidate who enjoys a varied role and working outdoors.
Duties Include
Caretaking
Keeping communal areas, estates and external spaces clean and tidy
Litter picking and estate inspections
Removing fly-tipped waste where required
Reporting repairs, defects and health & safety concerns
Supporting the upkeep of social housing estates
Bulk Collection & Driving
Driving a Ford Transit tipper vehicle between sites
Collecting and removing bulky household waste items
Loading and unloading furniture, appliances and general bulky waste
Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
Essential Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Previous experience driving vans or light commercial vehicles
Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving bulky items throughout the working day
