Job description
Position: Maths Teacher Location: Hertford Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Maths Teacher Role in a Supportive Mixed Secondary School A supportive Mixed Secondary School in Hertford is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September. About the Role The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' mathematical reasoning, confidence, and problem-solving skills. Students follow a broad curriculum covering algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, mechanics, and calculus. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations while encouraging resilience, logical thinking, and a positive attitude towards learning. You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through maths clubs, intervention programmes, enrichment activities, UK Mathematics Trust competitions, and STEM initiatives.
