History Teacher - Secondary School - Cambridge Are you a passionate History Teacher who enjoys bringing the past to life and inspiring students to think critically about the world around them? History Teacher Role Teaching History to KS3, KS4 and KS5 Cambridge MPS1 – UPS3 Salary Full-Time or Part-Time History Teacher An ambitious secondary school in Cambridge is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join its successful Humanities faculty from September. This is an exciting opportunity to teach within a department that is committed to developing inquisitive learners through engaging lessons and a broad, knowledge-rich curriculum. The successful candidate will teach History across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level History. Students study a wide range of historical periods, from Medieval Britain through to modern international history, while developing analytical, research and evaluative skills that prepare them for further study and future careers. The department is well-resourced and places a strong emphasis on enquiry-based learning, debate and source analysis. Teachers work collaboratively to create engaging lessons that challenge students of all abilities while encouraging curiosity beyond the classroom through educational visits, history societies and enrichment activities. The school offers outstanding professional development, including subject-specific CPD, instructional coaching and leadership opportunities.
