You will listen to your team and service users, and help ensure the day-to-day running of the department is smooth and positive. The Charge Nurse at Cotswold Spa will take on these responsibilities. Open to existing Charge Nurses (RMN or RNLD) with leadership experience or senior nurses seeking the next step in their career. You will join a multidisciplinary team and be supported with career development to help you achieve your goals. The role supports young people aged 13-17 years (CAMHS referrals) and young adults aged 18 to 25 years. What you will be doing With experience from the NHS or private care, you will oversee and provide high-quality care and support to women with complex mental health needs, while supporting your team and promoting good teamwork. As a Charge Nurse, you will lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care and the delivery of clinical services, ensuring the day-to-day operations of your unit perform well. You will also: * Delegate nursing tasks to nurses in the unit and coordinate with other teams * Monitor service users\ conditions and respond to changes * Supervise other members within the unit and provide guidance and support * Make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation * Liaise between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals with effective communication and collaboration No two days will be the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine. Requirements * A relevant nursing qualification * NMC registration (RMN or RNLD) * A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate * A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice * Relevant experience in a similar environment * Proven track record of leadership skills Location Location: Cotswold Spa Hospital, Station Rd, Broadway WR12 7DE Cotswold Spa is a specialist eating disorder clinic for young people aged 13-17 years (CAMHS referrals) and young adults aged 18 to 25 years. The service treats patients with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, with some having co-morbid learning disabilities. The hospital is Ofsted registered and provides education facilities for patients who are still studying. Patients on average stay 3-4 months. The aim is to restore a healthy weight, modify problem behaviors linked to the eating disorder and help parents and carers work with the young person. Brook House is a satellite centre located a few doors down. This is not currently recruiting into this service.
