Job Purpose / Overview
The Quality Lead (CFSI Manager) working within the Supplier Quality team is responsible for managing a team of Quality Engineers and ensuring compliance with the quality management systems covering all activities within the scope of the PDO Quality team. This includes ensuring that nuclear industry and major project best practice quality management arrangements are defined and deployed across the SZC project, organisation and within the supply chain.
The Supplier Quality Department is part of the Quality Delivery Organisation, which develops and maintains policies, strategies, standards, procedures and best practice in Quality as well as providing first and second level oversight of SZC's activities and measuring their effectiveness.
The delivery of SZC Project is split across six programmes of works to which the Quality Department provides quality related services. Quality Delivery Managers in each programme specify their needs and monitor service performance.
