Job description
Senior Children's Residential Support Worker Salary: £36,231 - £40,640 (assuming good attendance and up to 4 sleep-ins per month) Those huge small victories Working in our client's Children's Homes means being part of a young person's day-to-day life. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you'll help young people regain their childhood and create pathways to becoming well-rounded adults – an incredibly rewarding role. There will be challenges along the way, but there will also be those small moments that feel like huge victories. Our client's homes support young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, with the aim of achieving the very best outcomes for every child in their care. Their Senior Residential Support Workers are passionate about making even the smallest positive difference, celebrating every achievement along the way. Get out what you put in You'll play a key role in supporting young people day to day, helping to create a safe, nurturing and positive home environment where lasting memories can be made. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you'll also support the wider staff team, ensuring the home continues to operate to high standards and stepping up to deputise for Team Leaders when required. Our client is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with young people and colleagues alike. You'll begin your career by completing a comprehensive 4-week Care Academy induction , designed to equip you with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to support young people effectively.
