Overview MJMK Restaurants KOL · Fonda · AngloThai · Luso · Casa do Frango + New Openings (2 Michelin stars, Worlds 50 Best Restaurants) Central London (On-site, 5 days a week) · Full-time £45,000 - £55,000 We are looking for a Payroll and People Manager to join the team. We currently operate 7 restaurants, with 4-6 new openings planned over the next 12 months, including 2 new concepts. This role is essential to the smooth running of our People function, ensuring teams are paid correctly and on time, every time. Responsibilities * Payroll: owning end-to-end payroll processing across fortnightly and monthly pay runs, including Tronc, statutory payments and HMRC compliance * Rotas and reporting: collaborating with Operations on weekly rotas, providing payroll cost analysis and reporting to the Financial Controller * HR administration and compliance: maintaining accurate employee records, issuing contracts and offer letters, and supporting right to work compliance * Audit and compliance: reconciling payroll and PAYE balance sheet accounts monthly, and staying up to date with changes to payroll and tax law * People team support: acting as a key user of the HR system and a go-to contact for payroll and HR queries Qualifications * Genuinely enjoys getting payroll right, first time, every time * Strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory payments and HMRC compliance * Confident with HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records * Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented and proactive * Capable of managing queries from the team and managers with clarity and professionalism * Calm under pressure, comfortable juggling multiple priorities * Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and continuously improving processes What We Offer * 50% discount across all MJMK restaurants * Up to £500 team referral bonus * Opportunity to grow within one of Londons most ambitious hospitality groups * Enhanced maternity and paternity pay after one year of service * Extra day’s holiday each year, up to 5 extra days * Wide range of benefits from Hospitality Action * Company sick pay after one year of service About MJMK Restaurants We own and operate a collection of award-winning restaurants.
