Job description
Paediatric Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist Job Type: Permanent Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, 42 weeks per week (39 weeks per year will be considered) Specialty/Function: Paediatrics Pay Band: NHS Band 5 Salary: £35,922- £43,729 Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for children and young people aged 2 – 19 years with profound and multiple learning difficulties and sensory impairment, including deaf‑blindness, physical disability, and complex medical needs. We are a growing service with a focus on integrated and evidence‑based working, as well as expanding our provision to meet the needs of our young people. The team includes 24 on‑site PT/OT and SLT’s working across the school to provide therapy to our pupils while contributing to ongoing service development. Responsibilities * Provide speech and language therapy to pupils in a special school setting. * Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of PT/OT and other SLT staff. * Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives. * Support and mentor colleagues as appropriate. Qualifications and Experience * Registered Speech and Language Therapist with a valid NHS‑approved registration. * Previous work or placement experience within a paediatric setting is an advantage. * Passion for integrated working and a desire to develop your career in a special school environment.
