Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities. * Deliver high-quality personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and mobility. * Support residents with meals, hydration, and social activities to promote wellbeing. * Respond promptly and sensitively to call bells and any changes in residents conditions. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and handover notes. * Uphold infection control and health & safety standards at all times. * Work collaboratively with the day team to ensure continuity of care. * Help create a positive, stimulating environment through conversation and activities. Person Specification Personal * Previous experience in a care role is desirable. * A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to overnight care. * Strong observational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility to work 12 hour shifts, including alternate weekends. * A commitment to delivering person-centred care and maintaining residents dignity.
