This is an expert level technical role providing ongoing support maintenance and development across our compute infrastructure ensuring it remains secure resilient and highly available. Working as part of a skilled technical team you will be responsible for proactively identifying and resolving issues implementing improvements and ensuring systems are optimised for performance security and reliability.
You will also contribute to the organisations wider security posture through effective vulnerability management firewall administration and adherence to best practice in infrastructure design and operation. Working collaboratively with colleagues across IT and the wider organisation you will help ensure that technology services are robust secure and aligned with organisational needs.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Experience in delivering Server Compute services in a large customer base
- Familiarity with Microsoft tooling and cloud services
- Experienceof supportinglarge-scale infrastructure projects
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and be able to develop professional relationships across teams and services to achieve shared aims
- Ability to plan and organise a varied workload for self and others working to short deadlines
