Job description

Children’s Complex Care Senior Support Worker (Nights)

£17.25 – £19.33 per hour | Across Kent | Paediatric Complex Care

Are you an experienced Children’s Complex Care Support Worker looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every night?

At Superior Healthcare, we’re growing our specialist paediatric team and are looking for compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Senior Carers to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs in their own homes across Kent.

Since 2006, we’ve been providing exceptional nurse-led complex care services to families throughout the UK, helping children and young people live safely, comfortably, and independently at home. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Children’s Complex Care Senior Carer, you’ll provide specialist one-to-one support to children with complex healthcare needs, building meaningful relationships with both your client and their family. This is an opportunity to deliver truly personalised care while working as part of a supportive and experienced clinical team.

Location: Various community-based paediatric care packages across Kent

Shift Pattern: Typically 8–12 hour waking night shifts

Client Ratio: One client per shift, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care

Rota Options:

  • Set, consistent rota patterns
  • Optional overtime available
  • Potential for a rolling 3-on, 3-off shift pattern

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs and be confident with:

  • Tracheostomy care, including suctioning
  • PEG and/or Mickey Button feeding
  • Medication administration
  • Delivering complex care within the community setting (preferred)
  • Most importantly, you’ll bring a caring, professional approach and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Why Join Superior Healthcare?

At Superior Healthcare, our people are at the heart of everything we do. When you join us, you’ll become part of a dedicated team that values compassion, professionalism, and clinical excellence.

We offer:

  • Competitive hourly rates of £17.25 – £19.33
  • Regular and consistent night shifts
  • One-to-one client care
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Clinical support from experienced healthcare professionals
  • Opportunities to develop your complex care skills
  • A rewarding role where your work genuinely changes lives

Apply Today

If you’re ready to take the next step in your complex care career and join a team that’s committed to delivering outstanding care, we’d love to hear from you.
