£17.25 – £19.33 per hour | Across Kent | Paediatric Complex Care

At Superior Healthcare, we’re growing our specialist paediatric team and are looking for compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Senior Carers to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs in their own homes across Kent.

The Role
As a Children’s Complex Care Senior Carer, you’ll provide specialist one-to-one support to children with complex healthcare needs, building meaningful relationships with both your client and their family. This is an opportunity to deliver truly personalised care while working as part of a supportive and experienced clinical team.
Location: Various community-based paediatric care packages across Kent
Shift Pattern: Typically 8–12 hour waking night shifts
Client Ratio: One client per shift, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care
Rota Options:
- Set, consistent rota patterns
- Optional overtime available
- Potential for a rolling 3-on, 3-off shift pattern
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs and be confident with:
- Tracheostomy care, including suctioning
- PEG and/or Mickey Button feeding
- Medication administration
- Delivering complex care within the community setting (preferred)
- Most importantly, you’ll bring a caring, professional approach and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities
- To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
- To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
- To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
- To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
- To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months care experience.
- Experience supporting paediatric clients.
- Full UK manual driving license.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Tracheostomy care experience with paediatics
