Job description

People & Culture Executive / Coordinator

A Stage Unlike Any Other

In 1863, a group of artists, writers, and free thinkers
gathered with a shared conviction: that the finest conversation, the boldest
ideas, and the warmest hospitality belonged together under one roof. Charles
Dickens dined here. Whistler argued here. Rodin was inspired here.

The Arts Club was born not as a venue, but as a living
expression of creative life — and it has never stopped.

At the heart of that life today are the people and spaces
that bring our club to life every day. This is more than an operation — it is
an environment where members connect, create, and return time and time again
because something about it feels truly special.

It takes an exceptional person to be part of that.

That person might be you.

Be part of creating an exceptional employee
experience.

People are at the heart of everything we do, and we're
looking for an enthusiastic, people-focused People & Culture Executive /
Coordinator
to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is
looking to develop their career within luxury hospitality. Working closely with
our People & Culture team and managers across the business, you'll play an
integral role in supporting the entire employee journey - from attracting and
welcoming new talent to driving engagement initiatives, wellbeing programmes
and learning opportunities that help our teams thrive.

If you're passionate about people, highly organised and
enjoy building positive relationships, we'd love to hear from you.

About the People & Culture Executive /
Coordinator role:

  • Champion
a positive and engaging workplace culture through engagement activities,
    celebrations and social events.

  • Support

  • Deliver
a welcoming onboarding experience, ensuring every new colleague receives a
    professional introduction to the business.

  • Coordinate
references, right-to-work documentation and all pre-employment
    administration.

  • Conduct
exit interviews and identify trends to support employee retention.

People Operations

  • Provide
HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including
recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, performance
management, compensation and benefits, HR reporting and general employee
    administration.

  • Prepare
payroll notifications relating to starters, leavers and contractual
    changes.

  • Liaise
with Finance and department managers to ensure payroll information is
    accurate and submitted on time.

  • Maintain
confidential HR records and personnel files, ensuring compliance with GDPR
    and data protection legislation.

HR reports and maintain accurate employee records across HR systems.

Employee Relations

  • Be
a trusted first point of contact for managers and colleagues, providing
guidance on HR policies, procedures and payroll-related queries.

  • Support
managers with welfare meetings, investigations and other formal employee
    relations processes.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate
internal and external training programmes, including systems such as FLOW
and professional qualifications such as WSET.

  • Maintain
accurate training records and support learning administration.

Supporting the wider People & Culture
team

  • Prepare
    correspondence, HR documentation and communications.

  • Assist
with departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure
compliance with employment legislation, health & safety requirements,
fire safety and company policies at all times.
