Job description

Company Description

Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum + mileage + paid on-call

Location: Home-based, supporting clients across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall and the wider West Midlands (linked to our Telford branch)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm with participation in a paid on-call rota

Leave hospital shifts behind – without leaving specialist nursing.

Are you an Adult Registered Nurse looking for a role where you can continue using your advanced clinical skills while enjoying a better work-life balance?

At CCH Group, we're looking for passionate and experienced nurses to join our Complex Care team, supporting adults with highly complex healthcare needs to live safely and independently in their own homes.

This is your opportunity to move away from the pressures of ward-based nursing while continuing to make a genuine difference every single day.

Instead of caring for multiple patients during a busy shift, you'll build meaningful relationships with a small number of clients, supporting them to achieve the best possible quality of life in the place they want to be – home.

No two days are the same, and you'll have the autonomy to manage your own diary while being supported by an experienced and collaborative clinical team.

About us

CCH Group is the UK's largest provider of community-based health and social care services, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to thousands of people every day.

Our Complex Care division supports adults, children and young people with a wide range of complex healthcare needs, including:

  • Spinal cord injuries
  • Acquired brain injuries
  • Neurological conditions
  • Ventilation and respiratory support
  • Tracheostomies
  • Learning disabilities
  • Epilepsy
  • Genetic and progressive conditions

We're passionate about helping people live independently in their own homes while delivering safe, outstanding clinical care.

Why join CCH Group?

We know that nurses are looking for more than just another job.

That's why we offer:

A genuine Monday-Friday work-life balance.

Flexibility to manage your own diary.

The opportunity to use your specialist clinical skills outside of the hospital environment.

The chance to build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients and families.

A supportive team where collaboration and clinical excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

Ongoing professional development, clinical education and opportunities to progress your career into senior clinical leadership.

Our benefits

Be part of something bigger

Every day, our nurses help people live fuller, safer and more independent lives.

If you're ready to bring your clinical expertise into the community, enjoy greater autonomy and become part of a team that's transforming complex care across the UK, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and discover how rewarding community nursing can be.

Job Description

What you'll be doing

As a Complex Community Nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive safe, high-quality care while supporting and developing the care teams around them.

A typical week could include:

Completing comprehensive clinical assessments for new clients leaving hospital.

Reviewing and developing person-centred care plans.

Delivering practical, hands-on training and competency assessments for care professionals.

Providing clinical supervision and coaching to build confidence within care teams.

Visiting clients in their own homes to review care delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.

Working closely with families, hospitals, GPs, therapists, Local Authorities and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).

Supporting clinical governance, safeguarding and quality assurance across your caseload.

Helping people remain safely at home and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.

This is a field-based role, giving you the flexibility to plan your own diary while working closely with a supportive nursing and operational team.
