Teach South Kent is recruiting enthusiastic graduates to work in secondary schools across East Sussex as Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors. These roles provide invaluable classroom experience if you are thinking about future teacher training and are an excellent way to build confidence, develop transferable skills, and discover whether teaching is the right career for you.

What will you be doing?
Depending on the role, you could be:
  • Supporting students in lessons on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
  • Assisting teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Supervising whole classes during teacher absences using pre-prepared lesson plans (Cover Supervisor).
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students reach their potential.
  • Gaining hands-on experience in a variety of school settings.

Previous school experience is welcomed but not essential. Full support and guidance will be provided.
