Maintenance Planning Engineer

Responsible for the management of maintenance and materials planning requirements and theproduction of line and base maintenance work packs. Review of maintenance work packs completionprior to aircraft departure and updating the MIS as required.Main responsibilities

Follow the company procedures in order to ensure compliance. Liaise with the Maintenance Team and other key departments to ensure a commonunderstanding of maintenance capability and capacity. Enter technical log utilisation data onto the MIS. Review of allocated aircraft maintenance status to ensure compliance with the approvedmaintenance programme. Preparation and review of maintenance variations. Identify provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft based on projected utilisationand keep up to date the in-house maintenance planning calendar. Review material requirements against provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft. Raise reservations/purchase requisitions for required materials. Proactive - ability to recognise potential issues and apply remedial action before they raiseconcern or affect operations. Must have high computer literacy skills and be competent with Google Suite applications. Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
