The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated English Language and English Literature lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Support pupils of varying abilities to develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication
• Foster a love of literature and language within the classroom
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English within UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent subject knowledge across KS3-KS5
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
