Why join Apex Hotels?

You’ll be welcomed into Apex Hotels with genuine warmth as you join us as a Head of Revenue Management in Edinburgh. From your very first day, you’ll be part of a team that truly cares, where people feel valued, included, and connected. We love individuality - it’s what brings the spark, the curiosity, and the human touch to every interaction.

Role Overview:

The Head of Revenue Management is responsible for leading the revenue strategy for Apex Hotels across all properties, driving optimal performance across rooms and non-rooms revenue streams. This role ensures that pricing, forecasting, distribution, and inventory decisions maximise total revenue and profitability while supporting the Apex brand, guest experience, and commercial objectives.

As a senior leader within the commercial function, the Head of Revenue Management will shape the group’s revenue culture, embed data-driven decision-making, and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver sustainable growth.

Joining the dedicated Revenue Team, you will take responsibility for:

  • Develop and deliver the overall revenue strategy across rooms, M&E, F&B, spa, and ancillary revenue streams to maximise profitability and market share.
  • Lead revenue optimisation through analysis of market trends, demand patterns, competitor activity, and dynamic pricing strategies.
  • Own the annual budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and implement revenue growth opportunities through segmentation, pricing, inventory management, channel mix, and product optimisation.
  • Oversee pricing, inventory, distribution, and yield management strategies to drive RevPAR, TRevPAR, and overall commercial performance.
  • Lead and optimise distribution across direct, OTA, GDS, corporate, and wholesale channels while reducing acquisition costs and increasing direct bookings.
  • Drive non-rooms revenue performance by developing commercial strategies for M&E, F&B, spa, events, and ancillary services.
  • Champion the use of revenue management systems, business intelligence tools, and analytics to support data-driven decision making.
  • Monitor and report on key commercial KPIs, providing actionable insights and leading performance improvement initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development to the revenue team, fostering a culture of commercial excellence and continuous improvement.

About you:

You will have a real passion for revenue management across different business segments. You will possess strategic, commercial skills, with previous experience in a senior revenue management role, together with:

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven technical and commercial experience in multi-property revenue management within a hotel group.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in business analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing operational detail, providing commercial insights and analysis

You will meet great people, have fun at work, develop new friendships, learn new skills, and of course you will also receive a competitive rate of pay and a generous range of employee benefits which includes:

  • 35 days holiday
  • Training and development from day one
  • Employee events and celebrations
  • Inhouse company interactive employee communication APP
  • Entry to our state-of-the-art gym and pools
  • Access to an external Employee Assistance Programme
  • Financial Wellbeing App, allowing you the flexibility to get paid earlier than your normal monthly pay date
  • £ referral bonus when your friends or family join the team

Following your first successful 3 months, you’ll also receive...

  • Access to our discounts and wellbeing platform “Treat Yourself Here”, unlocking savings and experiences for you and your family
  • Involvement in our employee recognition schemes
  • Long service recognition
  • Probation pass and annual anniversary complimentary guest experience overnight stay and dinner for two
  • 50% discount in our restaurants
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Discounted room rates for employees, friends, and family
  • Spa treatments and product discounts
  • Life Assurance cover

Come and join our team, guided by our values of trust, friendliness, teamwork, and passion - the good stuff that makes hospitality feel effortless. Here, you’ll shine in your own way, creating joyful moments that lift the everyday.
