Pay: £17.00 - £21.00 per hour - paid weekly
Contract: Flexible day, evening and weekend shifts with full-time and part-time options available

Get Registered Ahead Of The Busy September Period

While schools and academies prepare for the summer break, we're already speaking with chefs and cooks ahead of the busy September period.

Demand typically rises from September across schools, nurseries, care homes, healthcare settings, prisons, contract catering sites and hospitality venues.

A number of these roles require an Enhanced DBS check, so we're encouraging chefs to register early so compliance can be completed before the autumn rush.

Don't currently hold an Enhanced DBS?

That's not a problem. Blue Arrow can support you with arranging one, helping you access more assignments. While your DBS is being processed, we may be able to offer work in hotels, pubs, restaurants, events and other hospitality settings so you can begin earning sooner.

Registering early puts you in a strong position to secure ongoing opportunities when September demand increases.

Many assignments within schools, nurseries, care homes, healthcare environments and prisons require an Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience working within a professional kitchen
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for food and high standards
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Flexible and reliable approach
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)
• Own chef whites and knives
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is beneficial for some locations
