Export Sales & Logistics Co-ordinator Location: Basildon, Essex Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (Onsite) Salary: £23,958.38 per annum About the Role We are working with a well-established, UK-based importer and wholesale distributor to recruit an Export Sales & Logistics Co-ordinator to join their Sales Office team in Basildon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced team within one of the UK's leading wholesale distribution businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining a portfolio of offshore accounts, providing essential support to field-based Account Managers, and ensuring the highest levels of customer service are delivered across all export operations. Key Responsibilities Managing and maintaining a portfolio of offshore accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day enquiries Providing sales and administrative support to field-based Account Managers Preparing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements Processing orders and managing dispatch efficiently and accurately Processing sample requests and managing customer bookings via phone and email Maintaining back orders and keeping customers updated on the progress of their shipments Setting up new accounts and delivery keys on internal systems Creating orders from spreadsheets and emails and liaising with internal departments on bookings and orders Booking direct containers and coordinating deliveries Processing paperwork for drivers as part of the wider team Providing support to the Team Leader and other members of the Sales Office team What We're Looking For Previous experience in an export, logistics, sales support or co-ordination role Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal Experience of order processing and customer account management A proactive and team-focused approach with good attention to detail Experience with shipping documentation and export compliance is advantageous German or French language skills are beneficial but not essential Why Apply?
