Job descriptionOverview We are currently supporting the recruitment of an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a small residential home in Derbyshire, providing specialist support for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. Responsibilities * Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the residential home * Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism * Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislative requirements * Lead, motivate, and develop a team of support workers and senior staff * Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management processes * Monitor and review care plans, risk assessments, and support strategies * Promote independence, choice, and inclusion for all residents * Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the service * Build and maintain positive relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders * Lead on safeguarding, incidents, complaints, and quality improvement initiatives Required Skills & Experience * Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Service Manager within Learning Disabilities and/or Autism services * Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practices within social care * Proven experience leading and developing successful care teams * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards) * Experience managing residential services and achieving positive outcomes for individuals * A person-centred approach and passion for delivering high-quality care * Ability to drive service improvement and maintain compliance standards Benefits * Competitive salary of £50,000 per annum * Permanent, full-time position * Supportive and established provider * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities * Pension scheme * Generous annual leave entitlement * Career progression opportunities * Opportunity to lead a small, specialist residential service * Supportive senior management structure This role would suit an experienced Registered Manager looking for a rewarding opportunity within a smaller residential setting, or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career J-18808-Ljbffr
