Job description

The Role

At Soho House a Bartender plays an essential part in delivering a premium beverage experience that is both memorable and personal. You will supporttheBar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager andyoullensure that the bar is fully operational stocked andalways presented to the highest standard

Your main responsibility is toprepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails wines and spirits with precision and flair while creating a welcoming and sophisticated environment for our members and guests.

Key duties

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a consistently high standard including cocktails spirits wines beers and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Engage with members and guests in a warm professional manner remembering preferences and delivering a personalised experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness hygiene and organisation of the bar before during and after service.
  • Assist with stock rotation inventory and replenishment of supplies throughout the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing health & safety and hygiene standards always.
  • Contribute to the development of new cocktail menus and seasonal drink offerings in collaboration with the bar team.
  • Process orders accurately using the POS system and ensure all billing is completed to club standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with the floor team kitchen and events department to ensure smooth and seamless service.
  • Handle member queries and feedback confidently escalating any concerns to management as appropriate.

What we are looking for...

  • 2 -3 years experience in similar capacity
  • Strong cocktail knowledge including classics techniques and spirits.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident calm presence during busy services.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with POS systems stock control and basic reporting.
  • Team player with a flexible professional and positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Personal License or willingness to obtain one (preferred).
