Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join a repairs and maintenance team covering the Newark and Lincoln areas. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties.\n
\n
\n We’re looking for a Maintenance Operative with a core trade in either Plumbing or Joinery. You will be covering responsive repairs and this is a stable, full-time role ideal for someone with social housing or council experience.\n
\n
Duties Include:\n
\n \n
    \n
  • Carrying out responsive maintenance and repair work in both occupied and void domestic properties.
    • \n
  • Completing a variety of planned and reactive repairs to a high standard.
    • \n
  • Undertaking general maintenance tasks alongside your core trade of Plumbing or Joinery.
    • \n
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying the most effective repair solutions.
    • \n
  • Installing, repairing and replacing domestic fixtures and fittings.
    • \n
  • Completing repairs such as doors, locks, skirting, kitchens, pipework, taps, toilets, sinks and other household components (depending on trade).
    • \n
\n
\n This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £18.20 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £15.62 inclusive of holiday).\n
\n
\n You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.\n
\n
You will need:\n

    \n
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Operative / Multi Trader
    • \n
  • Your own basic hand tools and PPE
    • \n
  • Full UK driving licence
    • \n
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing or Joinery
    • \n
\n
