About the role
As an Area Neighbourhood Manager you will lead and inspire a team of Neighbourhood Housing Managers to deliver a high-quality customer-focused housing management service. With responsibility for tenancy and estate management across your area youll ensure customers receive the support they need to sustain their tenancies while helping to create safe well-managed neighbourhoods where communities can thrive. This is a varied and rewarding leadership role where youll oversee key housing management functions including lettings tenancy management estate inspections anti-social behaviour case management safeguarding customer complaints and partnership working. Youll work closely with internal teams local authorities community groups and other stakeholders to provide effective solutions for customers and deliver positive outcomes for neighbourhoods.
Skills and Experience Needed
Were looking for a customer-focused and inspirational leader with experience delivering high-quality housing management services and leading successful teams. You will have a strong understanding of tenancy and estate management a commitment to putting customers first and a proven ability to build positive relationships with customers partners and stakeholders. Youll be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills capable of managing competing priorities solving complex problems and making informed decisions in challenging situations. A sound knowledge of housing management legislation safeguarding equality and diversity and customer involvement is essential along with confidence using a range of IT systems and software. Experience coaching and developing colleagues driving service improvements and working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for customers and communities will help you thrive in this role. A relevant professional qualification and experience working with external agencies local authorities MPs or Councillors would be advantageous.

This is a 37 hour per week maternity cover role until September 2027 with a competitive salary along with a great package designed to support you at work and beyond.
52116per annum
26 days holiday pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
Sick Pay rising with length of service up to 6 months full pay after 4 years.
A basic DBS is required which we pay for.
