Have a working knowledge of current drainage design and wider flood risk management techniques and policies.
Can work to deadlines whilst managing a diverse caseload.
Can communicate effectively with a range of people in a clear concise and accurate manner changing messages and/or style to suit different audiences.
Are able to analyse interpret and clearly present complex data in an accessible manner.
Ability to translate policy into workable solutions devising and implementing new service initiatives and efficiencies.
Knowledge of flood risk management and the role of a Lead Local Flood Authority.
Experience of developing and maintaining effective partnerships.
Experience of supporting teams in technical delivery.
Project management skills.
Experience and knowledge of the town and country planning system.
