About the Role
AsWorkforcePlanneryoullbecome theorganisationsexpert in our new electronic rostering system supporting its successful rollout and embedding best practice across services.
Working closely with Operational Digital Finance and People teamsyoullhelp managers build complianteffectiveand efficient rosters that meet commissioned hoursmaximisesupport time and reduce unnecessary costs.
This is a highly visible role that combines systemexpertise data analysis coaching governance and continuous improvement.
WhatYoullBe Doing

Leading Digital Rostering Excellence

Deliver training and hands-on support to managers throughout implementation and beyond.

Develop andmaintainworkforce planning standardstemplatesand guidance.

Support managers to publish high-quality rosters at least 12 weeks in advance.

Review rostersidentifytrends and areas for improvement and provide structured feedback.

Help services respond to changing staffing requirements and commissioned hours.

Provide targeted rostering support during exceptional circumstances.

Identifyopportunities to improve efficiency reducewasteandmaximiseproductive support hours.

Analyseworkforce data toidentifytrends in agency use overtime vacanciesabsenceand staffing gaps.

Produce meaningful reports and workforce planning insights for senior leaders.

Challenge constructively promoteaccountabilityand help remove barriers to effective workforce planning.
About You

Werelooking for someone who combines technicalexpertisewith strong relationship-building skills.

Experience in workforce planning androtamanagement within a social care environment.

Experience using electronic rostering systems such as Sona Log My Care Allocate Optima Nourish or similar platforms.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and translate findings into practical actions.

Experience trainingcoachingor supporting managers and colleagues.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strongorganisationalskills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel.

Understanding ofhow commissioned hours workforce planning and quality care delivery interact within social care services.

Ability to travel across service locations asrequired.

Experience implementing or rolling out new digital systems.

Knowledge of supported living residential caretransitionsor complex care services.

Experience in service improvement and root cause analysis.

Understanding ofpayroll processes and workforce/payroll integrations.
Additional Information
Hybrid working with a mix of office and home-basedworking.
Regular travel acrossWWFTserviceslocatedin Yorkshirewill berequired.
Occasional evening or weekend attendance at events may be needed.
