LUNCHTIME CHEF
Role
Were looking for an experienced chef to develop menus, work with margins and manage the kitchen and paper work amongst a small close knit team.
We offer a lunch only service 6 days a week and sit between a cafe and restaurant. Were known for using lighter ingredients to offer something different from your usual pub grub. We rotate items on our menu fortnightly and keep certain dishes on for the duration of each season Were looking for a chef to lead on all menu decisions.
Its a great position for someone whos looking to help grow a lunch trade and put their own dishes on a menu - its definitely a creative role. As we serve lunch only our price point is key and all dished come in £15.00 and under. We tend to serve smaller portions, having good knowledge of costing and margins is essential and well be looking for experience in this.
Hours & work life balance
The hours are a huge benefit for any candidate whos looking to get evenings off and work in a supportive environment, which is also creative. The role will be 35 hours per week including weekends, with 1 in 3 Sundays off. Between the start of August and mid September the bar is closed every Sunday....
