Summary:
The Temporary Accommodation Assistant plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of Somerset Councils Temporary Accommodation Service by coordinating the allocation administration and monitoring of temporary accommodation for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing crisis. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate accommodation records liaising with accommodation providers monitoring occupancy coordinating inspections and ensuring compliance with homelessness legislation Housing Benefit regulations and Council policies.
