The Direct to Consumer (D2C) Data Science organisation comprises Data Science Data Engineering and ML Engineering practices. D2C Data Science helps PlayStation grow and operate its digital business across commerce subscriptions payments lifecycle experiences and player-facing services. We partner with product engineering finance marketing and operations teams to turn experimentation forecasting AI and production-quality measurement into better experiences.

Role overview:

As the Technical Project Managerwithin Data Science Enablement you will support the planning coordination and execution of data science and AI initiatives that help the Decision Science organization deliver measurable data science machine learning and AI impacts more effectively.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on programme planning dependency management stakeholder coordinationreportingand delivery execution. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex initiatives working with technicalteamsand using data to support decision-making.

You will work closely with Data Scientists ML Engineers Data Engineers EnablementSpecialistsand business stakeholders to help ensure projects are well-defined dependencies areunderstoodand delivery progresses smoothly. Partnering with the D2C Data Solutions team you will support the development and maintenance of operational dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into programme deliveryadoptionand business outcomes.

What youll be doing:

Delivery Execution

  • Support planning & execution of data science andAIinitiatives ensuring timelines milestones and dependencies are clearly defined and tracked.
  • Maintain program plansdeliveryartefactsand status reporting to support transparency and predictable execution.
  • Coordinate across Business Product Data Science and Engineering teams to help unblock issues and keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Track risksissuesand decisions escalatingappropriatelyand proposing mitigation options.
  • Create dashboards and reporting tomonitordelivery progress operationalhealthand adoption.
  • Perform ad-hoc and recurring data analysis & visualizations to supportprioritisationin-lifemonitoringand performance reviews.

Technical Coordination

  • Partner with technical teams to understand solution scopedependenciesand constraints.
  • Help translate initiative goals into actionable workstreams and execution plans.
  • Support technical readiness activities including data availability toolingaccessand process prerequisites.

Enablement Operations

  • Support team operating cadences including intakeprioritisationplanningand review processes.
  • Contribute to rolloutadoptionand readiness activities fornew solutions.
  • Build andmaintainoperational dashboards primarily using Domo.
  • Support the availability and governance of reporting data sources.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define metrics andestablishtrusted reporting views.
  • Translate business questions into clear metricsdashboardsandvisualisations.

Stakeholder Support

  • Provide day-to-day programme coordination and communication across stakeholders.
  • Prepare concise updates and materials for planning sessionsreviewsand retrospectives.
  • Support senior team members in driving alignment across technical and business teams.

What were looking for:

  • 5 years (or equivalent) experience in a technical project programme and/or delivery coordination role.
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis using SQL - including ability to write debug and optimize queries across large datasets.
  • Experience working with technical teams - Data Science Engineering Analytics or similar.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Clear written & verbal communication ability to convey technical concepts at an appropriate level.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards and data visualizations with a focus on clarity usability and business relevance.
  • Comfort working with technical artefacts such as requirements delivery plans backlogs and analytical outputs.

Desirable:

  • Degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering Information Systems or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for technology enablement and organizational impact.
