Wererecruiting for anAsset Delivery Planned Works Inspectorto join our team in Portsmouth. Whileyoullbe contractually based out of ourPortsmouth officeyoullspend a lot of your time out on our sites.
This is afull-time role working 37 hours a week on a 6 month fixed term basis with a minimum of 20% of this to be office-based to promote collaboration and team working.

As the Asset Delivery Planned Works Inspectoryoullprovide on-site inspections of works undertaken ensuring that the workmanship quality and safety of work are asrequired. Some of your responsibilities will include inspecting both ongoing and completed worksmonitoringand reporting progress and ensuring stakeholders are up to date and ensuring compliance with building regulations and H&S closely with Project Supervisors review and agree variations andmaintainaccuraterecords of project progress.
In this roleyoullsupport Project Supervisors by verifying works completedidentifyingopportunities for performance improvement and documenting emerging project meetings provide ad-hoc support and represent the organisation on-site for defect resolution. Your communication skills will be crucial asyoullliaise between customers contractors and various teams across the business. You will also support on resolving complaints.
Youllbe proactive in leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery andmaintainhigh levelsof customer satisfaction. You will ensure effective communication throughout the delivery of works and respond to customer enquiries and complaints aiming to provide a first-class service.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in inspecting construction works inspecting scaffolds a strong understanding of health and safety procedures and excellent communication and analytical skills. A strong understanding of roofing is essential to support our 100% inspection process on roof replacements.
Youllhave the ability toidentifyareas for improvement exercise good judgment and work collaboratively with teams. A construction-related qualification andpreviousexperience in a similar role are desirable but not essential.
A full clean UK cleandriving licenceis required.
